A few thousand words from an AI, with no table of contents, makes for painful reading. This tool scans every heading, builds an anchored outline tree, and lets you either copy just the TOC to the top of the document or hand back the whole thing with the TOC already inserted.
How to use it
- 1Paste the long document — headings are picked up automatically.
- 2Set the heading range (H1–H3, say) and choose a bulleted or numbered list.
- 3Copy the TOC to your document's top, or switch to TOC + document to take the whole thing.
