Acceptable Use Policy

What may and may not be generated with the AI tools MusePics operates, what happens when content breaks the rules, how to report it, and how reports are reviewed.

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every AI tool MusePics operates itself — currently the image generator at aigenerate.musepics.com — and to anything you send us: listing corrections, reports, submissions.

It does not govern the third-party sites we link to. Those have their own terms, and we expect the ones we list to publish an acceptable use policy of their own.

1. Who may use the tools

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to generate images. If you are younger, use the tools only with a parent or guardian present and responsible for what is generated.

You may not use the tools if you have previously been removed for breaking this policy, or if applicable law bars you from using them.

2. Prohibited content

The six categories below are prohibited in prompts, reference images and outputs. "Prohibited" means we do not allow it to be generated, and we will remove it if it is. Attempting to reach these categories through euphemism, misspelling, translation or a chain of partial steps counts the same as asking for them directly.

2.1 Sexual content and nudity (NSFW)

No explicit sexual content, sexual acts, or nudity created for sexual purposes. No sexual or sexualised depiction of any person under 18 — real, drawn or generated. No sexual imagery of a real, identifiable person without their consent. No "nudify", undress or body-morphing of real people.

2.2 Violence and gore

No realistic depiction of serious injury, dismemberment, torture or death. No content that glorifies or instructs on harming people or animals, including weapons built to cause mass harm. Stylised, non-graphic fantasy violence in ordinary creative work is not the target of this rule.

2.3 Hate and harassment

No content that attacks, dehumanises or incites hatred against people because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation. No targeted harassment of an identifiable person, and no content made to intimidate them.

2.4 Child safety (CSAM)

Zero tolerance. Any sexualised depiction of a minor — photorealistic, drawn or generated — is prohibited absolutely. We remove it, permanently ban the account and report it to the appropriate authority (for example NCMEC in the United States, or the national equivalent), and we preserve the minimum records the law requires us to keep. We do not warn first.

2.5 Deepfakes, impersonation and deception

No using a real person's face, name, voice or likeness without their consent to create content that could be mistaken for real, including fake evidence, fake statements, or content built to deceive voters or consumers. No impersonating a brand, public figure or private individual in a way that misleads. If you publish an image of a real person, label it as AI-generated.

2.6 Copyright and trademark

No generating a copy of a protected character, artwork, logo, product design or trademark in order to pass it off, sell it, or trade on someone else's brand. No using reference images you do not have the rights to. Style influences are not the issue here; reproducing a specific protected work is.

3. Other things that are not allowed

  • Trying to bypass, disable or reverse-engineer the safety filters.
  • Automated, scripted or bulk generation, or reselling access to the tools.
  • Uploading malware, or content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
  • Using outputs to build a competing service, or to train a model, without written permission.
  • Creating accounts to get around a suspension or a usage limit.

4. What happens when content breaks these rules

Depending on severity and history, we may:

  1. Remove the content. Generated images that break this policy are deleted.
  2. Suspend the account. Temporary, while we review.
  3. Ban the account permanently. For repeat violations or the severe categories.
  4. Forfeit credits. Credits and balances on a banned account are cancelled without refund, because they were bought to run the service that was abused.
  5. Delist a site. If a listed third-party tool is found to build on this kind of content, we remove the listing rather than keep sending traffic.
  6. Report to authorities. For child-safety violations and credible threats of serious harm, we report without waiting for your permission.

For the severe categories — child safety above all, and credible threats of violence — we act first and explain afterwards. For everything else we try to tell you what was removed and why.

5. How to report a problem

Email: hello@musepics.com with the subject line starting Report: — for example Report: CSAM, Report: impersonation, Report: listing is wrong.

In the product: use the report control next to an output where one is shown. It reaches the same inbox.

Please include: the page URL or the image itself, what you believe is wrong, and whether you are the person affected or a bystander. If you are reporting on someone else's behalf, say so.

If you are a rights holder sending a copyright or trademark notice, include the work you own, the URL of the material you object to, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised, and a way to reach you. We will act on complete notices and tell you the outcome.

6. How reports are reviewed

  • Triage: every report is read by a person. We aim to triage within one business day.
  • Child-safety reports are treated as urgent and acted on within 24 hours.
  • Decision: we look at the content, the prompt history where it exists, and the account's record. Outcomes are: no action, content removed, account action, or listing removed.
  • Reply: we tell you the outcome. If we removed something you posted, we tell you which rule applied.
  • Appeal: reply to the same thread within 30 days. A different reviewer looks at it.
  • Record: we keep a log of reports and actions taken so repeat behaviour is visible across accounts.

We do not publish a list of removed accounts, and we do not discuss one user's case with another.

7. Which models this applies to

The image generator we operate runs on three third-party models, chosen by the quality tier you pick in the interface:

  • Fast — FLUX 2 Klein 4B (black-forest-labs/flux.2-klein-4b), Black Forest Labs, served via OpenRouter.
  • Standard — Seedream 5.0 Flash (bytedance-seed/seedream-5-0-flash), ByteDance Seed, served via OpenRouter.
  • Identity — Seedream 4.5 (bytedance-seed/seedream-4.5), ByteDance Seed, served via OpenRouter.

Those providers apply their own automated filters and their own usage policies, which also bind you. A filter passing content is not permission: this policy still applies, and we still act on reports.

8. Changes

This policy may change. The date at the top of the page is the current version. If a change is material, we will note it on the page rather than replace it silently.
